Day 5

(9/8/10)
So far today has been pretty good. Between classes I had an apple. I was able to eat out with Q for lunch. I had a grilled boneless, skinless chicken breast with nothing on it and also a salad with a few slices of tomatoes. For the "dressing" I just used lemon juice over it. It was surprisingly pretty filling (and good). Although, what the guys had looked so much more delicious I still wasn't really tempted to give in. (Craig had some spaghetti and meatballs and Q and Les had chicken strips with gravy and toast)(I have to note that the spaghetti & meatballs looked absolutely beautiful the way the had it set up on the plate)
It felt great. Les gave me a compliment today and said that I seemed happier and asked if it was the diet. I'd like to think so. I have a lot more energy and I'm not so lethargic. I can also think a bit more clearly. I like that.
I am glad that others can see the happiness that I've been feeling the past few days. I hope it continues.

5 lbs down since Monday. Not bad. At all!

  1. Food will look a thousand times better when you're on this diet. But I'm happy to see you found alternatives while eating out.
    I told you this diet would make you feel better about yourself.
