Day 12

9/15/10
I hit my goal for today. Today wasn't hard at all. No hunger pains...I just felt tired because I've been going to sleep later than usual. It's all the reading!
I think I know what does the trick in the morning...that melba toast does wonders! I had a glass of wine instead of my fruit for the day. I'm not realizing that I was totally over eating before! Like CRAZY over eating! With the food choices that I've been making I am staying full much longer than I did before. I know that once my maintenance starts that I'll be hungrier, but I'll still know what healthy choices I can snack on or choose to eat that'll fill me up. I still have a few weeks now left of this portion of my "diet", and i'm confident that I'll hit each of my goals that I set for myself. I'm much for confident now. I have my mind set and I know exactly what I'm aiming for. My mind is also so much clearer now. Strange.
Anyway....here are my tallies for today. =D

Day 11

(9/14/10)

Today was a good day!
Even though I cheated this weekend, I've pretty much lost what I gained. I think by tomorrow I'll be back to where I was. I have been feeling pretty good. I cleaned the van out today at the shop and it was HHHHOOOOOTTTT! I have a new found respect for what my husband does everyday! I can't believe he's in that heat all-day-long! Like the sun beating down on you. It's horrible! I feel so bad for him! I'll be more appreciative from now on...
So since I sweat my butt off I'm hoping I'm going to get down to 178-177 for tomorrow. I'm really trying to as best as I can. We shall see.

Day 10

Today is Monday and what a Monday it's been! My van's engine blew! So I sat in the heat and sweat my butt off for a while....which I guess could be good. =D So my weight today is a follows.

Weight - 182
BMI - 31.13

I guess this weekend caught up with me...ugh. I'm gonna get it off though! I'm determined to look damn good in my bride's maid dress! I want the pictures to look wonderful! Not only for Prissy but for me too! I want to look like I did when Q and I first met. =D I'm sure it'll happen with time! I'm working my butt off so I should get some return!

Did get to weigh myself in for Saturday.
Weighed in Sunday...
I was surprised that I didn't gain but a pound. Weird but glad. =D

Day 7

I didn't do to well with dinner because it's our anniversary and I wanted to "celebrate" with no restrictions.
It was a good night. I had steak and steamed broccoli....but then had a Jack Daniel's pie!!! We went to Texas Land and Cattle which was wonderful!

Today started out pretty good. Food wise it's been wonderful. I haven't been hungry pretty much all day. The one time I was I ate an apple and I was fine.

Day 5

(9/8/10)
So far today has been pretty good. Between classes I had an apple. I was able to eat out with Q for lunch. I had a grilled boneless, skinless chicken breast with nothing on it and also a salad with a few slices of tomatoes. For the "dressing" I just used lemon juice over it. It was surprisingly pretty filling (and good). Although, what the guys had looked so much more delicious I still wasn't really tempted to give in. (Craig had some spaghetti and meatballs and Q and Les had chicken strips with gravy and toast)(I have to note that the spaghetti & meatballs looked absolutely beautiful the way the had it set up on the plate)
It felt great. Les gave me a compliment today and said that I seemed happier and asked if it was the diet. I'd like to think so. I have a lot more energy and I'm not so lethargic. I can also think a bit more clearly. I like that.
I am glad that others can see the happiness that I've been feeling the past few days. I hope it continues.

5 lbs down since Monday. Not bad. At all!
